BeDriver is ready to get back on track in Portimão for the first stage of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, the Porsche one-make championship staged during the European Winter Season. This is going to be the team's official debut in a European competition.
BeDriver will take part to the stage at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve together with Alberto Cerqui in the Sport Division. The event starts on Friday with the pre-event test day, an additional and optional test day. Then the official test day takes place on Saturady with the same scheduled time ad the pre-event test day. Each day includes two morning test sessions (each lasting 60') and two afternoon sessions (each lasting 45'). The Race Day starts with free practice and qualifying; then Race 1 and Race 2 take place in the afternoon.
Alessandro Poli, BeDriver Team Principal: «Compared to previous years, this time our season already starts in January with the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. The stage in Portimão will be important to understand where we are and how best to set the work for the rest of the year. This participation also allows us to consolidate our presence in the Porsche one-make championships outside national borders».
Alberto Cerqui, BeDriver driver: «I can't wait to return to racing at Portimão after more than ten years since the last time. It is one of my favourite tracks and there couldn't be a better place to start this adventure in Europe. Overall, I am very curious to see how this adventure in the PSCSE will go, it will definitely be a great way to grind out the kilometres and prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the rest of the season».
