No break for BeDriver, ready to hit the track again after a good weekend in Valencia. An all-Spanish back-to-back for Alessandro Poli's team, expected in Barcelona, more precisely in Montmeló, for the last stage of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, the Porsche one-make championship staged during the European Winter Season.
Almost at the end of this European adventure, BeDriver arrives at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with the clear aim to find the last answers that are missing about the car's development. It will all be done without neglecting competitiveness: after the excellent third place in Race 1 in Valencia, Gianluca Giorgi is ready to give battle again among the curves and straights of Montmeló and to redeem himself after the unlucky withdrawal in Race 2.
As usual, it all starts on Thursday with the pre-event test day, an additional and optional test day that precedes the official test day, scheduled on Friday with the same times. Each day includes two morning test sessions, each lasting 60', and two afternoon sessions, the latter lasting 45'. Saturday is Race Day: free practice and qualifying in the morning, followed by the start of Race 1 and Race 2 in the afternoon.
Alessandro Poli, BeDriver Team Principal: «We arrive in Barcelona with high morale after the good result in Valencia, where we finally managed to get a podium. This last leg in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe will be crucial for us to take stock of the car ahead of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, our main seasonal goal. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but I have full confidence in my team».
