BEDRIVER AND ALBERTO CERQUI TOGETHER AGAIN IN 2024: «WE HAVE BIG AMBITIONS»

BeDriver is pleased to announce the renewal of the partnership with Alberto Cerqui, who will continue to wear the colours of the Brianza-based team in 2024 driving a 992 GT3 Cup in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia (Category Pro). In addition, he will compete in some stages of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe too, starting on January 26th in Portimão (Portugal).

Born in Brescia in 1992, in 2024 Cerqui will start his second season with BeDriver. The 'Black Jaguar' has a long series of participations in national four-wheel competitions behind him. His palmarés includes the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Championship, as well as the 2009 Formula Azzurra Trofeo Alboreto, the 2011 Italian Superstars Championship and the 2017 Italian Gran Turismo Super GT3 Championship.

Born from a genuine passion for motorsport, BeDriver is preparing to start another motorsport season by doubling its commitment in the Porsche one-make championships: in addition to the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia (together with Centro Porsche Piacenza for the third year in a row), the team is ready to make its debut in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe too.

Alberto Cerqui, BeDriver driver: «Last year was our first season together: we got to know each other and achieved an important victory. This year we want to raise the bar even higher. Our goal is still to fight for the title». Positive feelings also for his PSCSE's debut: «I am very happy to be back in Portimão after more than ten years. It is my favourite track and I can't wait to race there! On the other hand, Estoril is completely new to me, so it will be a challenge. I'm already working on the simulator to be prepared. It's a very technical track and we'll get useful data for our current and future work during the season. In general, I am keen to see how this adventure in the PSCSE will go. It will certainly be a great way to grind kilometres and prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the PCCI».
