BeDriver's 2024 keeps on having an European flavour: after the debut in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, now the team led by Alessandro Poli is ready for another European adventure in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse, the Porsche one-make championship organised by Porsche Switzerland, alongside with Luigi Peroni.
Peroni represents the gentleman driver par excellence: a driver, but first and foremost a man who has always been driven by a genuine passion for motorsport. As a true four-wheels lover, Peroni has dedicated his entire life to motorsport, choosing BeDriver as a partner for this important adventure in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse. His car will be supported by CBS Composites, a company owned by Peroni himself, which has been active since 1989 in the carbon fibre composite materials market and has become a partner of excellence for customers in the automotive and aerospace industries over the years.
There are six appointments on the calendar scheduled from April to October where the teams will be engaged on the main European circuits - plus the official tests, scheduled at Le Castellet on March 22nd and 23rd. It will all begin at Spielberg, at the Red Bull Ring, where PSCS first round will be staged from April 25th to 27th; a month later, the competition will continue at the historic Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, venue of the second round of the season from May 30th to June 1st. The Championship will then continue in Italy, at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola, venue of the third round of the PSCS, scheduled from June 21st to 23rd. After the summer break, it will start again in Portimão, venue of the fourth round of the season, from August 29th to 31st, at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. This will be followed by a return to Italy, at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, for the fifth round of the PSCS, scheduled from September 19th to 21st; then it will all remain in Italy for the sixth and final round of the season, scheduled at the Misano World Circuit from October 24th to 26th.
For BeDriver, a company born out of a genuine passion for motorsport, it will be a demanding motorsport season, which will see it involved in several Porsche one-make championships: after the experience at the start of the year in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, now the team is ready to make its debut in the Porsche Sport Cup Suisse and, at the same time, to take part in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia for the third year in a row. An important commitment BeDriver has chosen to take on with the aim of strengthening its presence in the Porsche one-make championships not only on a national, but also continental level.
Luigi Peroni, BeDriver Driver: "After the back operation, returning to compete at high levels was an important objective and I am delighted to be able to do so with a team like BeDriver, where I have found great passion and dedication for racing. The Porsche Sports Cup Suisse is a competitive championship, I can't wait to get back on track and have fun!"
