Joys (and some pain) in Valencia for BeDriver. In the third stage of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe, Alessandro Poli's team took an important third place in Race 1 (Pro-Am Class) and an unlucky retirement in Race 2 due to a contact in the early stages of the race that took out Gianluca Giorgi's car.
Despite this unlucky episode, overall it was a positive weekend for BeDriver at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit. It is particularly noteworthy the podium earned by Giorgi in Race 1, who finished third after being second for a long time. However, there was nothing to do for the Emilian gentleman driver in Race 2 as he was involved in an accident at the start of the race and was forced to retire due to the damage reported on the car. The driver did not suffer any physical consequences in the impact.
Beyond the results obtained on the track, it was another weekend of great work on the car. In Valencia, the team led by Alessandro Poli continued to devote itself to the development of the car, also counting on the valuable support of Dylan Pereira. The Luxembourgish driver, winner of the Porsche Supercup 2022, took to the track together with BeDriver during the test days, putting his experience at the team's disposal to gather data and information useful in view of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, BeDriver's main goal of this season.
Alessandro Poli, BeDriver Team Principal: «It was a very positive weekend for us Race 2 where we were involved in a contact with another car forcing us to retire. However, we successfully completed the program which was to work and understand the car. We benefited from the experience brought in by Dylan Pereira which helped the team in key areas during the weekend».
