"Alberto Cerqui is the driver who will fight for the title in the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Italy Pro category. A new partnership in the motorsport world has been established between the company BeDriver and the Brescia-born driver Alberto Cerqui, born in 1992, winner in 2021 of the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Italy championship. This will be the competition in which Cerqui, supported by the BeDriver team, will compete this year to try to achieve a new title in the Pro category, adding to those already collected in previous years, including those obtained in the Formula Azzurra Trofeo Alboreto 2009, in the Italian Superstars Championship 2011, and in the Italian Gran Turismo Championship Super GT3 2017.
"We aim high, and I can't wait to get back behind the wheel with the BeDriver team. It's the first time I've worked with them, but I'm sure we'll find the right chemistry to give our best on the track." The driver who will soon be behind the wheel of the 992 GT3 Cup comments, "Finding the right feeling with the car will be crucial to being competitive, and we're already working on that."
"Alberto's experience, a professional whom I have a lot of esteem for, will be a valuable asset in this new season," says Alessandro Poli, CEO of BeDriver. "When we met to discuss a possible collaboration, I was deeply impressed by his willingness to get involved and the enthusiasm he showed for the project I had in mind. BeDriver needs people like him! I am pleased with the trust he has given us, and we can't wait to start!"
BeDriver, a company born out of a genuine passion for motorsport, is preparing to enter its second year of participation in the Italian monomarque championship together with Centro Porsche Piacenza. "Our drivers, both in the Pro and Michelin Cup categories, have all the potential necessary to give us satisfaction and make us have fun," continues Poli. "Our goal is to quickly reach the level of the most historic teams in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy, and we hope to become a reference team ourselves.
